Karol has been involved with horses since she was a small girl. Growing up in Thompson with her parents Richard & Dottie Bennett. Riding has been a passion throughout her life. Graduating from Tourtellotte Memorial High School, she took over the riding program from her Father in 1994 and has continued teaching.
From all of her horse experiences throughout life, she has learned how to be very patient and caring (funny too!)
When she's not teaching, she's a huge sports fan! Spending time with her friends, and having a good time. Karol's family has always been very supportive with horses, and still are! Still involved today Karol's father still works in the barn, and Dottie is still the manager of the farm today!
Karol is a level B carded New England 4-H judge and a carded Open Horse Show Association judge. Karol has judged numerous open shows for organizations such as: SNEHA, TSHA, CMHSS, and for some smaller type shows as well some State 4-H horse shows.
Karol was at one point a licensed riding instructor with ARIA in the disciplines western and hunt seat.
She now teaches lessons in western, hunt seat, gymkhana, showmanship, and over-fences. Karol couldn't see herself doing anything different, and thoroughly enjoys her work!
